The first phase will allow visitors to visit Yellowstone Lake, Old Faithful and Canyon Village as well as restrooms, self-service gas stations, trails and boardwalks in open parts of the park. Park rangers will monitor avalanche conditions. The road between Tower-Roosevelt and Canyon Village is closed for the 2021 season. The Lodge is central in the Yellowstone River Canyon loop just off the main Circle Road in the Park.
